The warm, vast and clear sky is the same that turns dark and cloudy.
Showering down its wrath, drenching every warm inch.
Do we hate the sky for that?
Yet, it doesn’t become for a human to have layers.
We need them safely put in that one column titled with their most-seen nature. All just so we know that is all we have to deal with.
They can close off their painful, vulnerable and hurting self. Why should we care, for we have already labelled them something else, haven’t we?
They can close off their secretly caring, sweet and loving heart. Why should we look further, for we have already labelled them bitter.
All it might take could be a little bit of acceptance and that judgemental part of us hidden away for a few minutes.
Layers will peel, a beautiful soul’s hide and seek, vulnerability more beautiful than their naked self. There could be no greater intimacy than feeling a soul’s true depth.
